This 2015 collection finds the Palominos working in a downtown, urban funk mode, the grooves taut and the arrangements economical. A welcome late-career addition to their discography.

The Golden Palominos are a long-running experimental rock project led by drummer and producer Anton Newkirk. Formed in the mid-80s, the project has consistently featured a rotating cast of high-profile guest musicians from across the rock and jazz spectrum.
