"That Was a Moment" captured The Goodwill at the height of their powers, with a collection of taut, urgent tracks that defined the PNW garage rock sound of the early aughts.
- The album was recorded at Smegma Studio in Portland, Oregon. It was the band's second full-length release on Negative Progression Records. The release received a positive review in Pitchfork at the time.
- The album was produced by the band and engineer Sean Keally. It features the track "You Make Me Cry," which became a minor college radio hit. The album art was designed by guitarist David M. From.
- The album was reissued in 2013 with bonus tracks. Negative Progression Records has reissued many seminal Pacific Northwest indie rock records. The Goodwill disbanded in 2005.
The Goodwill was a garage rock band from Portland, Oregon. They were known for their energetic live shows and raw sound.
