"Words from the Front" showcases Verlaine's signature guitar work and poetic lyricism, continuing his exploration of atmospheric post-punk soundscapes.

Tom Verlaine was an American musician, best known as the co-founder, principal songwriter, and sole constant member of the rock band Television. He was a key figure in the development of the New York City alternative rock scene in the 1970s. In 1982, Verlaine released his third solo album, "Words from the Front," a period where he was further refining his distinct guitar style and lyrical preoccupations outside of Television.
