The 1996 return of the hip-hop pioneers, "Six" saw Whodini collaborating with a new generation of producers on the So So Def label. It's a late-career effort that, while not reaching the heights of their 80s output, offers a glimpse of the enduring legacy of the duo.

Whodini were a pioneering hip-hop duo from Brooklyn, New York, best known for their innovative fusion of rap with R&B and electronic sounds in the 1980s. "Six," released in 1996, found them working with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label, a decade after their commercial peak and during a period of resurgence for the group.
