Rock or Bust was the first AC/DC album without founding members Malcolm Young and Phil Rudd. It was recorded as a four-piece with Stevie Young on rhythm guitar and Bob Rock producing.
- The album was recorded at The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver. It was the first AC/DC album not to feature a cover song. It debuted at number 1 in 7 countries.
- The album's title track and "Play Ball" were released as singles. The album sold over 500,000 copies in its first week. It reached number 3 on the Billboard 200.
- The album reached number 1 in Australia, Canada, Germany, and the UK. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. It was AC/DC's first album to be released on vinyl since 1989.
AC/DC are a hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1973. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In 2014, AC/DC were nearing their 40th anniversary, and releasing their first album of new material in six years, following 2008's 'Black Ice'.
