- "Fevers and Mirrors" features guest appearances from members of Lullaby for the Precious and Neutral Milk Hotel.
Conor Oberst's project Bright Eyes was formed in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1995, and is known for its diaristic indie rock. At the time of "Fevers and Mirrors," Bright Eyes was a solo act, with Oberst writing and performing all instruments.
