U-Vox

Chrysalis RecordsSee this day

"U-Vox" marked a significant shift for Ultravox, incorporating more electronic and synth-pop elements while retaining their signature art-rock sensibility. It was their final album with Midge Ure and their last before their initial disbandment.

Ultravox were a British-Austrian band formed in London in 1973, initially associated with the glam rock and art rock scenes. They later became pioneers of the new romantic movement and synth-pop in the early 1980s.
